Quod licet Jovi, non licet Bovi!

Dear Sir,

Re: Protecting the Right to Freedom of Expression

Please excuse my cynicism, but where were the outraged Ezra Levant, Mark Steyn, Maclean's, the Globe and Mail, the National Post, and a phalanx of commentators, now defending so vigorously our freedom of expression, when John Ross Taylor, Jim Keegstra, Malcolm Ross, Doug Collins, Ernst Zündel, Paul Fromm, Chief Ahenakiew and a host of lessor-known victims were viciously persecuted and impoverished for expressing their Politically Incorrect opinions? Evidently, in the hypocritical mainstream media and in Canadian politics, some citizens' rights are more worthy of protection than others, depending on whose ox is being gored, ignoring the fact that human rights, to be meaningful, must be available without fear or favor, and be enforced most conscientiously in the case of seemingly unpopular opinion, if truth and justice ultimately are to prevail.◘
